What is the Advisor Garage Community? And What Can it do for You?

The Advisor Garage Community offers entrepreneurs, advisors, angels and VCs the opportunity to connect, ask questions and help each other with their businesses through Groups, Blogs, Forums and much more.  

Want to find a potential investor or team member? When you find content you like or after searching through the 'People' tab - Click someone’s username, read their profiles and reach out via a private message.  So remember to keep your profile up to date – who know’s what may come of it.

Want to build your own entrepreneurial network of people with different skills for your startup? Link with people via the ‘Buddy system’. 

What are Groups?  People with similar interest so they can share knowledge, contacts, advice, create group events and more.  Everything that appears on the community relates to which Groups you have joined – only Group members can see that Group’s content.

The forums are a place to ask questions, help out others and get a discussion going on any subject that will help you with your business...basically add, take away and communicate.

And we have just launched your page.  This is your own ‘MyAdvisor Garage’. Create your own view of Advisor Garage – choose what content you want to view, add your own RSS feeds or perhaps add a few ‘droplets’ to your own page – perhaps add Top Tech Blogs to your personal page so you can see all the top headlines from Techcrunch, Gizmodo, Slashdot and Engadget. Maybe add ‘Twitter’ or ‘Facebook’ to your personal page.  You can create your own My Advisor Garage via the ‘My Advisor Garage’ section on the left column of your site view. Basically the Advisor Garage Community is a free place to help you but like most things, you’ll get out more if you put it more so the more you create, the more people you invite, the more you connect and collaborate, the more valuable the Community will become for you and every other member.  The Community will become whatever the members want it to be! So get posting, connecting and collaborating.
